Whatever your "why" is for working out, the Metcon 9 makes it all worth it. We improved on the 8 with a larger Hyperlift plate and added rubber rope wrap. Intended for lifters, trainers and go-getters, some of the greatest athletes in the world swear by it, and it's still the gold standard that delivers day after day.

I had to send them back as they were too stiff, they size small (even though I have small feet, but an high arch) and not suiting well due to the fact that my supporting soles didn’t fit good either. I wanted them to use for CrossFit classes, but of their stiffness on the heel, quick / short runs would be uncomfortable. As a Nike person, I think they are good for other people, but unfortunately this time not for me.

I was so excited for these to come out, but I ended up being so disappointed. The toe box is wider than the 7's and 8's, however, it is not "foot-shaped," so I still had to size up half a size in order for my toes to fit. Even then, the lateral sides of my foot/toes were squished against the side of the shoe, and the medial sides had a lot of extra room. The ankle area came up too high, so it rubbed against my malleoli (ankle bones). Overall, the shoe was heavy and stiff. I am still wearing my MetCon 5's from 2020, and I am desperately hoping Nike will go back to making something more similar to those! :(
