Running is your daily ritual, with every step taking you closer to your personal goal. Let the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 help you ascend to new heights—whether you're training or jogging—with its intuitive design. More lightweight up top than the Pegasus 38 and ideal to wear in any season, it has a supportive sensation to help keep your feet contained, while underfoot cushioning and double Zoom Air units (1 more than the Peg 38) give you an extra pop to your step. Your trusted workhorse with wings is back. Time to fly.

Pros: 1. I really enjoyed the fit and feel! The sizing was TTS and the lockdown fit from the mid foot band helped me feel secure. 2. The shoe was lightweight - which was a plus. 3. The padding along the collar was an additional bonus for me as well. I get blisters a lot, so this shoe relieved me from any of those issues that I face. 4. I did notice the outsole gave me a bit of grip also. The rubber was definitely apparent when running on pavement. Cons: 1. Although the fit was really nice, the cushioning wasn't the best for me. After walking around bit initially, 2. I felt the shoe was a bit rigid and not as absorbing. I'd appreciate a tad bit more cushioning if I were to make this my daily trainer.

The Pegasus 39 is awesome. The shoe has great step in comfort and instantly provides support. I can keep it unlaced or laced depending on the activities I am doing. The upper is light and breathable for these hot summer days and the two zoom units with the react foam keep me going all day. I did some running in it and it felt good. The Nike Pegasus line has always been solid but for me in the Peg 39, having a surgically repaired achilles, I had some soreness post runs due to some instability I felt in the heel. If I'm not rocking some heat on my feet, you will probably catch me in these most days.

I've been using the Pegasus series for several years now, mainly as running shoes but now for walking and daily use. They fit well and they're very comfortable. My only complaint is that they have very poor traction on tile floors, especially when wet.
