Nike Sportswear Therma-FIT City Series

• Nice jacket, just not for winter

  This is a nice jacket but it isn't for the winter. I will definitely wear this on cold days in the spring/fall though because it looks good and the XS fits me perfectly. In terms of the craftsmanship, it's pretty good except when I received the jacket there were threads coming out of certain areas on the sleeves which I had to cut. I'll also voice my complaint about Nike's selection of women's jackets here. When it comes to the selection of women's winter jackets (puffer, insulated, parka), its a little over half the size of selection of men's winter jackets which seems just a little baffling given Nike's stance on women. And the few winter jackets Nike does offer for women lack the variety of styles offered for the men's selection, the women's jacket styles look more or less the same, either a short puffer jacket style or a long puffer jacket style. For the men's selection of jackets however, they have much variety in the products offered. They offer jackets with their Storm-fit technology in many different styles that are built for the winter, yet this is not at all available for women in their sizes. This is just very disappointing to see.

  Love this coat for the city in the winter. The straps on the inside came in handy for going out when I didn't want to carry it around. It runs really big so I definitely would size down. I'm 5'2 125 lbs and i got the XS. I usually wear size S but got the XS and it is still pretty big on me but I like the look of it.
