The purpose has always been bringing people together. I think that was my main drive.

They had a birthday party for us, and the birthday party ended up with us going to sidewalk and mess and like, handing us welcome to the team. So that's like a bit more than, like half of my life I've been like riding for the shop

I used to be skating as, semiprofessional, and then I opened my skate store in 2003. 

I think it's so important to have local stores, in every big city.

I think is the most important thing that you can have in skating. To be able to come in and hang out and having the support of all these people is super important.

Sidewalk is this old shop, the original one, Enghave Plads, that one has been there before I started skating.

I've got a video that Jeff Campbell and I have been working on with, Nick Bizzario. We've got tattoos going on,

and the bump to ledge. I think it's going to be a dope, dope night. 
It's my dunk release. That's crazy to have those words come out of my mouth. Growing up, I never thought it would be possible to have a colorway of a shoe.

This is, this is something special

You honor a stakeboarder. It's definitely just such a surreal moment coming from a small town of, yeah, 4000 people to being here in Copenhagen releasing my own shoe.

I feel like when you come to Copenhagen you just come into this bubble of incredible energy, like the atmosphere is just like nowhere else.

It's just so great to see the whole world community coming together, you know?

I'm proud of Copenhagen for doing this.

It means a lot, you know, and it's nice to like, be able to show that to younger people and hopefully they have the same views as us.
