What's happening y'all? I'm DJ Cuzzin B, and I'm here at Love People Records in Maryland. And this is my episode of What You Got. Yo, what up? Yeah, Q.

My Guy. My life, my career. It revolves around music. So as far as collecting does, whether it's records or kicks, it quickly became an obsession. So we going to talk about both today. 

So the first pair I want to talk about is the Air Jordan 3 'Black History Month'. This shoe takes me back to my very first time doing work for Nike as a dj. I won't argue with you, this is the best shoe out of the entire Black History Month series. 

The details are endless. You look at the toe cap, you look at the heal cap. So, so many details that speak to my people and listen, this is a sample. You know what I'm saying? So yeah, this is fire.

Second pair I want to talk about is this Air Foamposite One, 'DMV'. Listen, we are in the DMV. This shoe means so much to this area. I don't care what anybody tells you.

We talk about the Foamposite because of the DMV. It's the cherry blossom color. This is the Nike SB Dunk 112 made by the one and only the late great DJ Clark Kent. First off, I'm a dj.

So when you think about this shoe, when you think about who DJ Clark Kent is, you can't help but to find the parallels. First off, the shoe is beautiful. Let's not get it twisted. It's an amazing shoe. 

This is all 3M. The shoe can look completely different depending on what light you look at it in. But for Clark, you think about his legacy. He did music and he did sneakers from a pure place. It wasn't about hype...

...it wasn't about clout. He did music 'cause loved it. He did sneakers because he loved them. We talked about my sneaker collection, but let's talk about another collection that means a lot to me, which is my record collection. 

This Mac Miller record. This is sentimental for many, many reasons. One, because Mac meant a lot to a lot of us, and we lost him way too soon. 

But also, I was a part of this record. I was able to help create this thing and to have something tangible after it dropped. It just means so much...

...that so many people, millions of people, have gravitated towards this performance. I don't think any of us realized just how rare of a moment it was until much later on. But it was special.

This Ronnie Laws record this song, Friends and Strangers. When I dropped the needle on Friends and Strangers, I had never heard anything like this in my life. 

The first note just ignited every sense in my body. So that's why this record is so special. So much so that I continue to play the beginning of this record countless times.

And I would press the button to speed it up, and I would press the button to slow it back down, and I would rewind the record and pull it back to the point where I finally broke the record and I broke the needle.

And that was the end of that. And it took years for me to hear this entire song because I was so intrigued by the beginning of Friends and Strangers by Ronnie Law.
