"Everybody thinks you just come here, you're in a desert, you're going to go hiking, it's Sedona. Whereas Manor, we're bringing culture, we're bringing streetwear, fashion. Manor's a hub. We're not just a sneaker store, but we're like a family store."

"I'm Jeremy Davis and I'm the owner of Manor. I moved back to Phoenix in 2006 with the goal of opening a new shoe store. I talked about opening a shoe store for years..."

"...and finally my wife said, if you don't do it now, then you got to stop talking about it. My name's Laura. I have been at Manor for over six years now."

"I was one of the first employees here. I just walked in one day and I liked the logo and then I think I ended up stalking the Instagram and I just kept coming back and next thing you know, I work here."

"My name's Luis. I think one of the main things that I've learned from Jeremy in my time here is that Manor is really an experience for people. They can come in and just talk to us, and that's just as great, if not more valued than just buying a pair of shoes."

"We came upon the Hangtime logo by accident. It was in an apparel deck that we had when we originally opened. Every time we put it on any of the apparel, it always sold faster than anything else, so we ended up trademarking it..."

"...and have been rolling with it since. It's almost like people come in and buy it and wear it whenever they travel or go to another city or country and Manor's become an Arizona gift shop without the gift shop vibe."

"You can always go hiking in Arizona, but why not do it in some cool shoes or you can even come get some cool shoes after.
If there's something I want Manor to be known for, I would say it's just the impact that we've had on the community."

"We host art shows once or twice a year just to bring the community in and it allows artists a space to hang their art and showcase their art where they wouldn't otherwise have in Phoenix.
I feel like some sneaker stores, when you go in there..."

"...it's like this is the counter, this is the door. There's not a lot of engagement in between, whereas no one really wants to help you here. Here it's like as soon as you walk in, we want to know about your day. What do you do for work? Why are you here? Whatever it is, we want to try to help you find something."

"Having the Super Bowl in Phoenix, it's big. Phoenix is always looked at, I feel like from a brand perspective as a secondary market, even though we're the fifth largest city in the US. Having it here, having the eyes on us, allows us to keep doing what we're doing just to a bigger audience."

"If there's one thing that I want Manor to be known for is what we've kind of already been doing is just really a commitment to the community. I feel like that's always been at the core of Manor from 2016 till now. We have a new location that's going to open in Gilbert, Arizona in the next couple of months..."
