Hello, everyone. We are here. Very excited to be back. It is the fifth episode, number five, of .SWOOSH Sessions. And I have two incredible teammates and just very accomplished and enthusiastic guests, who have joined me today.

Hi, my name is Masooma Ali, and I lead gaming and core partnerships for Nike Virtual Studios. Hi, I'm Bryon Panaia. I lead global brand experience and innovation for Nike.

First things first, we do have to talk about Our Force 1. Super proud of this, we ended up selling 98,000 boxes. So it's a really incredible effort. We’re very appreciative of the response, and the enthusiasm, and just the excitement that we've seen.

The next chapter here, is Airphoria Island. So, what's the relationship with Nike and Fortnite? How did this come to be? When you think about Fortnite, they're a really great partner for Nike because they sit at the intersection of gaming and culture.

And as our partnership is going to come to life over the next couple of years, you'll see .SWOOSH playing a really pivotal role in how those collaborations come to life. So, we can't wait to share that with everyone.

The game itself is basically the ultimate sneaker hunt. There are five grails, kind of like five icons of Air Max and they've been stolen.

So you have to go and find them. And that takes you on a whole journey throughout the island to restore power slowly to unlock this Air Max 1 grail.

So this is the underground. This is inside the airbag. Basically, it's a floating airbag with a city on top. And this is inside the city. We built an underground that's inspired by the Air Max Pulse.

And then there’s a level above that called Air Max City inspired by the Air Max 1. As you see there, there's our Max Museum, there's a shoebox tower...

...and then there’s a level above that, Aiphoria, which is an ethereal plane that's based on the Air Max Scorpion, which is one of our crazier shoes.

And so Airphoria is really the first stage of the .SWOOSH partnership, which is all anchored around account linking. Once you account link, you'll be able to claim your first .SWOOSH Achievement.

What’s a .SWOOSH Achievement? Okay, so before I dive into that, I think it's important to know that not everything .SWOOSH drops will be a virtual collectible.

Think of Achievements as rewards or bonuses that gamers can get either because they're participating in the experience like Airphoria or they're taking an action outside of the gaming platform, like account linking.

But the one thing to note is that Achievements are not sellable or tradable.

This wall right here is where I believe we have the first .SWOOSH Achievement. So this Achievement actually is what you will get if you are, again, in the US and you account link between Epic Games and your Nike account.

This will also show up in your .SWOOSH profile once you claim your Achievements. When you claim your Achievements by August 8...

...those that are claiming their Achievements will get first access to the future .SWOOSH Air Max collection.

Earlier this month we actually announced our first gaming partnership with EA Sports. That whole team at EA Sports is just so amazing to work with. So we’ve been busy cooking in the kitchen.
