"We have a really exciting guest. She's known as the Black Miss Frizzle. She works to give Brooklyn youth access to environmental education. All while keeping a pair of fly sneakers on her feet. Let's give a warm welcome to Aurelia Casey."

"Hi, what's up everybody? My name is Aurelia. I am an urban environmental educator and a youth program manager here in New York City."

"You do have your own program called the Inner City Ranger. So how did you get that started and what were the reasons why you wanted to start that?"

"As an environmental educator, I've worked in different cities.  A lot of the curriculum that we were building was more so to teach youth about environmental issues on a more larger global level scale..."

"...but not really honing in and focusing on environmental justice issues, conservation issues that we're having here locally. So when I was thinking about Inner City Ranger,"

"I definitely wanted a program that focused more on localized issues specifically in Brooklyn, New York. Inner City Rangers is held out of Bed-Stuy, shout out Bed-Stuy."

"Why do you feel like outdoor accessibility and education specifically for the inner city youth is most important?"

"Being in the outdoors for me is really great for my mental health. I love being outside. It makes me feel calm. It makes me feel free. It makes me feel really connected to our planet."

"I think with young people, if we give them this opportunity for them to explore their local outdoors, I think it can supply that for them as well. I also feel like it's great because in our industry, we don't see a lot of young people of color."

"Let's talk about how your style fits into what you do. I truly do love sneakers.  I get to be in cargos and a t-shirt and sneakers just naturally sort of fit in."

"I also feel like it makes me relatable to the young people. They're looking at me and then they're realizing that they can show up and apply to any job how they are."

"We have some of your fit pics from Instagram. We have two pics that we're going to put up and we're going to ask the audience to do a little poll here and tell us which pic is their favorite fit pick."

"The pair you would wear for an urban hike? My Winterized 14s. Your most versatile pair? My Aleali May Court Lux 1s. Your oldest pair? My Black Cement 3s. That was actually a good amount though, for 23 seconds."
