My name is Asha Harper, I'm a Footwear Design Lead for the Catalyst Team.
I'm Jessica Washick, I am a color and material Design Director.

The idea of lot numbers came about via coding.
Each lot has its own personal code and has its own color analogy attached to that.

With the Tongue, the Lot Number and Zip Tie having a feel of being more computer generated at random, just like how it would feel in Photoshop if you're moving the cursor on saturation or color.

There's a Lot Number call out on the box side for the factory to circle.
I really like the tape that has been applied to the edges alongside the hand scribbled Swoosh, which looks like a Sharpie.

I feel like it has a scavenged feel to it, which I kind of feel like harmonizes with the whole 'Cutting Room Floor' aesthetic.

The sample sticker has been applied to the lid of the box as well, it carries like a type of intimacy that keeps it special.
I absolutely love the traditional holes and that is has a transparent layer that you can see going underneath.

Lot 1 and Lot 50 being the start and the end of the same execution of material.
Black and White as like a perpetual balance of life.

Two pairs completely different, they can be the Bookends. The metallic Swoosh, that's like Virgil's DNA all over.
Very much like a collector's item.
