I’m AsahiNa. I work as a visual artist and graphic designer.
Most of the time, I focus on 3D-specific design, but I also enjoy creating things like typography and other works that I personally like.

I feel like my daily life is directly connected to my work. For example, if I see a beautiful flower while taking a walk, I go home and create a flower piece. In a way, my everyday actions naturally become my inspiration.

I always felt like Yu-Gi-Oh! had such a great vibe — like the flames going “whoosh!” and the spinning going “whoosh!” That spinning actually reminded me of something, which happens to be exactly what’s posted here.

We already knew that moiré patterns would appear in this print run. Basically, it’s that effect where you print the four CMYK colors and the way they’re angled changes how it looks. I think it ended up fitting perfectly with the spinning pattern on the back of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

I’ve always taken pride in the fact that detailed graphics are my signature style. I hope to showcase that to international audiences and make use of it in overseas projects.
