"I pull up to the live raffle and there's already about 100 people there and I'm already anticipating the L, but when the tickets get called out, mine was the 1st one picked, and that's how I copped my Strangelove SBs."

"What's up it's Todd (@simplythetodd), I'm in San Diego. This is the story of how I got my Grails, my Olympic Jordan 6s. Back in 2012, was a senior in high school. The London Olympics were coming around the Jordan 6s dropped. So I was like, "I gotta get those"."


"Went to the mall, thought I was getting up early didn't get em, by the time I got there, they already sold out. Then I tried to hit up my boy, he worked at Footaction. He didn't even get them for himself, so now I'm really sick. I'm like where do I go next, do I try Footlocker. I'm hitting people up, looking on the internet." 

"Sure enough I see on Ebay, about $500 for a pair. Right around that time I was in an essay contest for school. Got a $500 scholarship, supposed to go towards my books for freshman year of college. Sure enough, you see I got the shoes."

"My grades suffered a little bit that freshman year, not going to lie. But bounced back, graduated and now we're here. So even though I didn't spend the money on the books like I was supposed to, I got my grails, got my sneaks. Mom and Dad you're finding this out for the first time, sorry about it, love ya'll."

"So you know the 11s came out, I really wanted the Jubilees. Someone on Clubhouse reached out to me and was asking me to model for them, and I was like "Alright, let's do this"."

"So I agreed to the shoot and I go all the way to New York which is an hour and a half from Connecticut and when I get there, I realize that the sneakers that I'm going to model in is the Jubilee 11s. Can I keep these, I'm trying to think, "Are they going to let me keep them?"."

"At the end I actually find out that I get to keep them, and that's how I got my Jubilee 11s."
