I'm Bryce Waller. I'm Carlos Avalos. And we're with ISM.
So ISM started in 2020, you know, it developed from like a simple zine to like...

...a full blown magazine. We realized that the art of print was something that we wanted to explore, but also that people needed. I grew up heavy in the sports, coaching, refereeing for the community...

...growing into a love, I had a love for product, and that became my introduction to art, right? And there's an art to sport. So for the Toma El Juego finals, we created a zine called The Playbook.

So what we did was, we had 4 artists create original artworks for the zine, and the prompt for them was "the game is art" and the concept behind that is you are the player.

For the activation, we're going to have people be part of the book. We're going to let people choose their number, get their player photo taken, and then we're going to be binding the book in person. We want to invite people into our process.

Very excited to meet new folks, right? And when we talk about community, just meeting new people that are interested. Authenticity is key in the story that we are telling and identifying those members in the community to tell that story.

I think that's the through and through ethos of ISM and that's what we hope to translate through The Playbook at Toma.
