I get my inspiration from the bicultural world that I live in. I feel like there's a lot of references in fashion from Scorpios, so I've been using it in my work. All my best friends and my favorite people are Scorpios.

I am a border artist, so I did have this identity crisis. I didn't know who I was as an artist, where my work stand. In Mexico, I was too American. In the U.S., I was too Mexican.

I'm also excited for the players to receive their medals because we want them to have something that's an everyday wearable and they're proud to wear it.

Just having people to feel confident when they wear my work, just carry a conversation piece.
