...and it also reminds me of gems and jewels and the different way that women in the Bronx adorn ourselves. Other detail that I absolutely adore...

...is the satin texture of the piping, which not only represents the train lines that serve the Bronx through color, but the material itself, satin, represents the fact that we're all women of color.

There's this saying, we've floated from the Bronx to the world with love. I know how it feels to not being able to have resources. Being able to give back to the girls is actually a blessing and I want to be able to help them. 

It was just an amazing way to bring our story to life, and I'm really proud of what we created together. We did that.
