Support without sacrificing style

My husband put these on and was pleasantly surprised. He commented immediately about how comfortable and light they were. After extended use he mentioned he felt the sole was a little chunky and the lace up was a little snug. But overall he is a fan. Lots of good ankle support to keep his slightly “aging” ankles in check while he tries to keep up with our 6 year old. I might have picked a less flashy color but he doesn’t seem to mind standing out so much. He says “Support without sacrificing style”!

love the look, not super supportive in the body of the shoe. the sole is super squishy but the rest of the shoe feels very thin, not for me. they run a little bit big as well.
Quality Materials; Attractive Design; Sizing Issues

I just spent a two hour gym session with these shoes, and let me tell you what’s up: The materials and craftsmanship are superb—exactly what you’d expect from a shoe at this price point. No detail was missed, not even the laces. This shoe has soft padding in all the right places as well as a durable mesh construction that will surely hold the rest of time. The foam midsole and rubber sole are also well made. Grip wise, these are pretty phenomenal. The footbed is comfortable, yet supportive, and I did not experience any issues with slipping or stability. In terms of ankle support, you’re in luck. You can really crank these down as tight as you need and get some great results with no ankle bite, even when wearing low cut socks like I did. The padded collar hugs your leg nicely and doesn’t cause any irritation. I’m gonna let you in on a little secret here ok? Lean in, alright? The style of these shoes in the red colorway is truly inspiring and the folks at Nike really made a shoe that you just want to wear all the time, even off the court. Unbelievable, I know. Pinky promise it’s true. These are just a great looking pair of sneakers. So you’ve read this far and you’re probably asking yourself, “why did this guy only give it four stars since these shoes sound AMAZING?” The answer is simple—it’s the fit. I’m normally a size 11 but with many athletic shoes I size up to a 12 to get the fit I’m looking for in the toebox. Other Nike shoes I’ve owned seem to run small so based on experience I got these in a full size up—it didn’t matter. I think it has something to do with how the tongue attaches to the midsole instead of the upper, but it’s hard for me to put these shoes on and when my feet are in, I don’t feel nearly as much wiggle room in the toe box as I’d expect from ordering a full size larger. I think there’s potential for these to stretch out a bit with continued use, and to be fair the size is t a total dealbreaker for an otherwise ridiculously awesome shoe, but it’s definitely worth noting that these feel smaller than the size on the label.
