Nike ZoomX Invincible Run Flyknit

The shoe is aptly named, “invincible run” for the minute you lace up you feel like you can run faster and longer, like you’re about to run a personal best. The energy return is incredible, spring boards on your feet. The drop is clearly designed to “push” you forward. With such cushioning one might expect a heavier shoe, these are not. These shoes will be a perfect high mileage trainer and for those that don’t require dedicated race shoes these won’t let you down as you cruise to the finish line in comfort and ease. Worth mentioning the fit is a bit narrow.

These shoes are an amazing balance of comfort, performance, and style. When I first put them on, I couldn’t believe how cushy and bouncy they felt! They also fit my foot better than Nike shoes I have worn in the past. I took these out for a run right away and they felt great. The large sole made them look like they might feel heavy/bulky on a run. However, they felt very lightweight and provided a nice spring in my step! I think these shoes are ideal for track and pavement running but might not be great for trails and/or hills because of the extra cushion on the heel. I found running uphill was fine but downhill felt a little uncomfortable. I’m in my mid 30’s and probably run 5-10 miles a week on average but these shoes get me excited to run more! Overall, I’m very happy with these shoes and think I’ll be able to put a lot of miles on them. Nicely done Nike!

The style of the shoes was different from what I would usually wear. The soles were a little bulky. But they were so light.. they were not heavy at all.. the design of the shoes didn't bother me too much I have the black ones so it was easy to wear with everything.
