Cheap foam

My son had just enjoyed running in the VaporFly Next% until they fell apart so we purchased these. The VaporFly at least lasted a little over two months. These Pegasus Turbo 2 didn't even last 2 weeks. I'm starting to give up on Nike and this cheap foam they are using on the soles of their shoes. It tears too easy.
Falls apart

I was really excited for these shoes. I heard great things about them, however, when I got them I was extremely disappointed. I wore them one time, and then the sole ripped open. So I took them back, exchanged them for a new pair. This is the new pair (see pictures) after 2 days of wearing them. BOTH times these shows fell apart after leisurely wearing them around and to school. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I were running in them. Nike, please fix this. I’ve been a loyal customer, and now I’m very disappointed.

Great running shoe. I just ordered my 2nd pair. I run cross country, so I put a lot of miles on running shoes. So they lasted a little more than season that's more than I can ask for since I am hard on my shoes. They are true to size and very comfortable. I recommend this shoe.
