Bummer :(
MoeRockka - 08 Nov 2019
My favorite nike shoes for running have always been the FREE! But these shoes are way too narrow for my foot. Couldn't even fit my foot in it. I was so sad because the shoe was really nice and light.
What have you done to the free rn?
lorikwa - 29 Aug 2019
I was looking for a shoe that was close to the comfortable, snug fit that the 2018 free runs had. I used my 2018 free runs for runs under 5 miles, lifting, and dance. It used to be the ideal all-arounder shoe. I was hoping these would be somewhat similar to the free run I'm used to-- they were not. The material on top was tough and too loose in places while too tight in others. The weird lace placement makes this impossible to adjust. The sole is much tougher and rubbery, which is fine for walking or running very short distances, but pretty uncomfortable for dance or wearing for more than a couple hours. Sadly, they seem to have split the free run 2018 into two different shoes-- the free run and the free tr. I've tried both-- free tr is super comfortable and cushioned, but it's quite loose and lacks support, so you can't really run in it. It's as though they expect that people only do one type of exercise, or will purchase a different sneaker for each of their different workouts. Nike, please bring back a good all-around shoe that can be used for training and running!
Hard Plastic NOT Rubbery or Bouncy. Don't Buy. Not like Running on grass.

This shoe was so hard it was impossible to run in. The bottom is hard plastic when the reason I bought it is because the sole was being marketed as bouncy and "like running on grass." Really disappointing. The back was very comfortable though. I had to return it but if they were to make an actually bouncy shoe and they could fix it and make a wide and narrow, I would buy it. It's the worst.
