Sorry, but way too bouncy for me! My thin ankles can’t compensate for the lack of stability. Maybe for around the house, but those days are over and it’s time to get out and enjoy the world ... but not in these shoes!
Snug toebox at "knuckle"

I have enjoyed Nike Pegasus road running shoes in the past so thought I'd try on their trail runners. Unfortunately, it was pretty obvious that these would not work for me. The fabric and stitching at the "knuckle" of my foot does not allow for any give. The toe box is not tall enough for me (not an issue of width). Meanwhile, the heel was not snug enough for me, as my heel was moving around and slipping as I took a few steps in the house. I typically wear 11 in Nike women's and ordered both an 11 and 11.5, the 11.5 fit in terms of length. This style seems to run a little short. I did try them on with thicker socks such as ones I would wear on the trail.
