The Nike Metcon 7 is the gold standard for weight training—even tougher and more stable than previous versions. We've also added React foam that ups the comfort to keep you ready for high-intensity cardio. Plus, a tab locks down your laces so you can forget about them coming untied when you're focused on your next PR.

I usually take a 3.5 but sized up to a 4 which was perfect. Recommended by my PT to weightlift with the flat sole and they work perfect. Weird at first being flat but now so used to them and wear them loads

This shoe enabled me to do the best squats of my life! I had older Metcon models, and they are nice, but this is definitely a huge improvement. The support and stability all around the foot and ankle is wonderful. They aren't as clunky to walk around in as the older models, but still a little bit like clodhoppers...I would never attempt to run in them. But as a serious lifter with two leg days a week these are amazing and perfect for me. I'm glad I listened to others and order 1/2 size up. I usually wear 8 1/2 but went with a 9, and it fits perfectly.

These shoes run a bit small, so I sized up a half size. I had to replace a pair of Nike flyknit trainers from years ago. The Metcon's are known for their stability. They have a very sturdy sole with limited flexibility. This makes them great for squats, deadlifts, and any moves that require a lot of balance standing up. However, because of the less flexible sole, they are not good for jumping exercises. Even some of my HIIT workouts that require squat jumps or jumping jacks. They lack of bounce in the sole creates hard impact on my ankles. Wish these were better for more cross-functional workouts.
