The Nike Air Max 270 combines the exaggerated tongue from the Air Max 180 and classic elements from the Air Max 93. It features Nike's biggest heel Air unit yet for a super-soft ride that feels as impossible as it looks.
Beautiful Shoe, Buy your normal size!(The mesh is not for me tho!)
M I. - 27 Dec 2019
I was in love with this tennis shoe for months; I watched reviews, read on it and monitored websites for price drops. I decided to purchase on black Friday sale. when I wore it, however, I was a bit turned off.
I wear a size 7 in all my shoes but in some Nike tennis shoes, I find that I need to go up a half size. Most of the reviews were saying to go up a half size, and for the sake of saving a couple dollars, I decided to buy a size 6Y grade school which would be a 7.5 in women size. Well, it was big for me. Even with socks, it still wasn't confident with the fit. Keep in mind this aqua & white version has mesh material at the upper front of the shoe so if it doesn't fit snug, it won't feel like you're being supported. I ended up selling it to my sister. She's 7.5 and it fits her feet well. She actually loves it.
Overall I would say the shoe is true to size. The color is vibrant and it's a beautiful tennis shoe in person. I'm giving it a 3 star because It didn't feel like it offers much support, apart from being too big for me, I also didn't like the mesh. I would say I am more turned off by the fact that I bought the wrong size because that was what influenced the fit and comfort.
Comparison
The other Nike Tennis I bought and used within the last year is the Nike Free TR 8 LM Women's Gym/HIIT/Cross Training Shoe in a size 7.5. With socks, this tennis gives me a relaxed yet snug fit. My feet almost feel cradled. Oh and it is very supportive. When I run in it, I feel I as though I am on air. While this tennis and the air max 270 were made for different reason, this training shoe offers much more comfort to me than the air max 270.
