95 is a collaborative photo project featuring four photographers from around the globe, each exploring how the Air Max 95 functions within their cities today. The result is a visual compilation stitched together by daily rituals, local scenes, and personal connections. This work will be exhibited at NikeLab Seoul. How important is your city and community in your photography?
The stories I tell through photography come directly from my community; without them, my work wouldn’t exist.

What excites you most about the medium of photography?
I’m drawn to capturing that fleeting moment in time and the possibility that it can live on to move and inspire others.

How important is your city and community in your photography?
Tokyo is both decay and rebirth. It’s the place that shapes me — where I clash with others and carve out my own existence.

What excites you most about the medium of photography? It is raw, violent, and alive.

Very important; it's the medium and inspiration for my work.

What excites you most about the medium of photography?
The challenge to be original, and the ability to capture people and things as they are—the honesty and truth of it, cherishing the present.

How important is your city and community in your photography?
I wouldn’t be taking photos if it wasn’t for going to local shows and having the space to try new things freely and with the full support from my peers around me. The best part of it is that no matter what your outlet is (photography, playing music, making zines or dancing) you’re welcome to do it and be the most true version of yourself.

What excites you most about the medium of photography?
The every day moments between what's easily shared and forgotten about within minutes. My favourite thing in the world is showing a client or my friends the photo negatives, and seeing their reaction to moments passed, and how beautiful they are in their simplicity.
