The SFB collection honours Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman and his WWII service. Finally a Waterproof lightweight boot.

These boots are just what Nike was missing. They are lightweight durable and best of all waterproof (I was told they are only water resistant, but the liner inside is awesome , I ran water over the boots just to see and my foot stayed dry) I wore these in 10" of snow for hours on patrol with no water seeping through. This is a "boot", the tennis shoe feel is gone on this model but I'm sure that is the reason the boot will hold up better than the sfb gen 1 and 2 models.

These boots are nice, comfortable, and fit like other Nike's I own. But I do not think the durability reflects the price. I have been wearing these since mid October. I work in a warehouse and maybe wear them 3-5 days a week. The laces are completely frayed and I feel like to rest of the boot will not hold up past the next 6 months. There is a lot of wear on the inside and outside with just normal work wear in 2 months. For the price, I feel like this is ridiculous. Should have gotten my normally military issue boots that are 1/2 the price and last 5+ years.

Bought these a year ago. I got them to survive Ireland. Green hills, bogs, the Irish Sea, Guinness all over, and many a miles, there an back again! These shoes have made the test of time. Legit got better as I wore them. Soft comfortable, light! Durable!!! Flexible!!!! And water proof to a certain extant (knee deep in some serious bog)! None the less I was surprised but these are my daily commuter now, but they still have the full grip and very little signs of wear! Maybe I got the luck of the Irish, but I certain got the boots of a century. Cheers!
