Last updated: 20 October 2026 6 min read LeBron James fans, meet the LeBron XXIV, the 24th shoe in one of basketball's longest-running signature lines. "LeBron frequently challenges us to continue pushing the limits of what's possible", says Dorian Pickens, Nike basketball footwear director. Featuring an all-new KingKnit upper, a lower-profile React midsole and redesigned midfoot shank, the LeBron XXIV is—by LeBron's own account—the lightest signature basketball shoe LeBron has ever laced up. And you can get your hands on it from 17 November 2026, in the debut "Stars" colourway, for £180 (pricing to vary by region). ## Shop LeBron James basketball shoes [View All](https://www.nike.com/hr/w/lebron-james-basketball-shoes-3glsmz7y57xzy7ok) - [ \ LeBron Witness X \ Basketball Shoes \ __99,99 €__](https://www.nike.com/hr/t/lebron-witness-x-basketball-shoes-GD3OM5QV/IQ9847-001) - [ \ LeBron Witness X \ Basketball Shoes \ __99,99 €__](https://www.nike.com/hr/t/lebron-witness-x-basketball-shoes-GD3OM5QV/IQ9847-100) - [ \ LeBron XXIII \ Basketball Shoes \ __199,99 €__](https://www.nike.com/hr/t/lebron-xxiii-basketball-shoes-3F9mP7qm/IM5125-400) - [ \ LeBron XXIII \ Basketball Shoes \ __199,99 €__](https://www.nike.com/hr/t/lebron-xxiii-basketball-shoes-3F9mP7qm/IM5125-100) - [ \ LeBron XXIII 'Old Glory' \ Basketball Shoes \ __199,99 €__](https://www.nike.com/hr/t/lebron-xxiii-old-glory-basketball-shoes-VGhrdu53/IB9562-103) - [ \ LeBron Witness X 'Halloween' \ Basketball Shoes \ __109,99 €__](https://www.nike.com/hr/t/lebron-witness-x-halloween-basketball-shoes-MxgU5aRc/IX5286-001) - [ \ LeBron XXIII 'Motor King' \ Older Kids' Basketball Shoes \ __159,99 €__](https://www.nike.com/hr/t/lebron-xxiii-motor-king-older-kids-basketball-shoes-advKSVsh/IV4908-101) - [ \ LeBron Witness 9 \ Basketball Shoes \ __109,99 €__](https://www.nike.com/hr/t/lebron-witness-9-basketball-shoes-F9C5Nm/HQ8034-700) - [ \ LeBron Witness X \ Older Kids' Basketball Shoes \ __94,99 €__](https://www.nike.com/hr/t/lebron-witness-x-older-kids-basketball-shoes-xoagy4vI/IQ9854-100) - [ \ LeBron XXIII 'Green With Envy' \ Basketball Shoes \ __199,99 €__](https://www.nike.com/hr/t/lebron-xxiii-green-with-envy-basketball-shoes-lSrCrRkv/IH1513-700) ## Quick Takeaways - The Nike LeBron XXIV is LeBron James' 24th signature shoe, continuing one of the longest-running signature lines in basketball history. - A new KingKnit upper and a lower-profile React midsole make it the lightest LeBron signature shoe to date, based on the weight of Men's UK Size 8 launch style IO8204-400, compared to all previous LeBron signature game shoes (LeBron 1–23). Actual weight may vary by size, colourway, materials and normal manufacturing variations. - The debut "Stars" colourway (style code IO8204-400) will be released on 17 November 2026. ## What Is the Nike LeBron XXIV? The Nike LeBron XXIV is LeBron James' 24th signature [basketball shoe](http://nike.com/a/most-comfortable-basketball-shoes) with Nike—the newest entry in one of the longest-running signature lines in basketball history and, by LeBron's own account, the lightest shoe in the line. To get there, Nike engineered three key updates: an innovative KingKnit upper for a lighter, more breathable [sneaker fit](http://nike.com/a/how-should-sneakers-fit); a lower, closer-to-the-floor React cushioning setup for better court feel; and a leaner midfoot shank plate that sheds some of the XXIII's built-up containment in favour of less weight underfoot. [](https://www.nike.com/hr/w/lebron-james-basketball-shoes-3glsmz7y57xzy7ok) ## What's New on the Nike LeBron XXIV When you lace up a pair of Nike LeBron XXIV [basketball shoes](http://nike.com/a/best-nike-basketball-shoes) and step onto the court, you’ll experience a light, fast-as-lightning ride. At the heart of the LeBron XXIV is the all-new KingKnit upper, an innovation built in collaboration with the King himself. "As we approached year 24, we wanted to centre our focus on providing premium performance in a bespoke way that was created via KingKnit", Pickens says. The structure is based on Nike's tried-and-true FlyKnit and focuses on breathability, strength and weight reduction in a LeBron-only composition and design aesthetic. "KingKnit creates a formed-to-foot feeling that enables containment and allows air to flow freely through the shoe", Pickens says. It wraps the entire shoe, with a tighter weave near the laces for lockdown and a more open weave lower down for breathability. Adding to the lightness is full-length React foam incorporated into the midsole. This is the same low-profile, cushioning platform the LeBron XXIII introduced to the line—just dropped lower for a closer connection to the court. The shoe also features a redesigned midfoot shank made of lightweight carbon fibre. Where the LeBron XXIII relied on a more built-up external containment frame, the LeBron XXIV swaps it for a lower-profile piece that provides the same torsional support at a fraction of the weight. This latest shoe is also equipped with a slimmed-down sole that brings the foot even closer to the hardwood than recent LeBron models. This lower profile is paired with a widely spaced, indoor-court-focused tread that wraps up the medial side of the shoe for extra containment on hard cuts. The intricate design element runs throughout—from the metal throat clip to the tongue logo to the eyestays to the centre line of the outsole. First introduced on the LeBron XXIII, this "Forever King" identity carries forward rather than getting reinvented for year 24. And that number is worth a second look. Most signature athletes get a handful of shoes named for them before the line ends or shifts direction. LeBron James is on his 24th, spanning close to a quarter century with Nike—a run with no real precedent in the sport. ## Nike LeBron XXIV Colourways Choose from different colourways that capture the style and spirit of the LeBron James line.
