  • Box to UTMB

I bought these at the expo at UTMB and took them from box to race. And they were fantastic. No blisters, no feet problems. The wide toebox is fantastic, the foam soft, and the plate isn't too harsh. The eva casing got beat up a bit, but the shoes performed admirably. Unsure how many miles they'll be able to handle before bottoming out, but they instantly vaulted to my favorite trail shoe in my lineup

  • Arizona cross country perfection

I purchased these for my 15yo son to use for cross country races. We live in AZ, many of his xc races are partially on gravel and pavement. That makes running in xc spikes a really bad idea. These are PERFECT for the the courses he will be on this year. He's had one race in them so far and they preformed exceptionally well on multiple surfaces. Concrete paths, muddy grass, packed dirt and tiny gravel.

  • Ineffable

Let me start out by saying that I’m a Nike Running Product Tester. But, Nike did not send me these shoes. I purchased them. I laced my Ultrafly’s up this morning for a 12 miler fresh out of the box. These shoes are ineffable and leave me speechless. They have the right amount of cushioning and plate isn’t as aggressive as the Vaporfly and Alpha. The wide forefoot will allow you to toe off if you’re a mid foot striker and the extra heel cushioning will have you feeling like you’re landing on pillows if you’re a heel striker. What I really love about this shoe is the width. Since its not a narrow shoe, I feel it helps with my stability around curves, fatigue, and my landing. This shoe also has the right amount of material on the heel cuff for fatigue on those longer runs. The lugs on the sole provided phenomenal traction on 7 miles of trail and 5 on wet pavement. I must say, I actually loved the feeling of this shoe on the pavement too! The upper is breathable and lacing system provides the right amount of lockdown for you feet. I put 55 plus miles in a week and this shoe will be my race shoe and go to trainer.
