How This Was Made

  • The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
  • In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester produces up to 30% lower carbon emissions than virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfill and waterways.

Comfortable Running Pants

I R. - 11 Jan 2022

Very comfortable pants for distance running. Compression along the calves helps keep the pants in place while running while the material of the top half allows for movement without being overly restrictive. Would recommend these to anyone looking for great pants for moderately cold runs (down to 15 degrees).

Probs perfect if you're quite skinny

E U. - 09 Dec 2021

I have quite thick thighs for someone who fits a size small waist (I consider myself a mountain runner, and one with more more strength than speed at that). With that in mind I can understand why the upper section of these troursers feels like it could be slightly wider, or at least more stretchy. the lower section comes further up the leg than i expected, which I actually like, however the seem where it joins the upper section is again not quite stretchy enough for my legs. For me this all means that my thighs chafe really badly if i run in these. I suspect this wouldnt be such a problem for a person with a more typical runner body. In retrospect I wish I just got the thights version, but these trousers will still be comfortable and useful for relaxing in and wearing for warm ups or changing into after a run.

Great Cross-Season Wear

DallasCharles - 15 Nov 2021

I hate running in cold weather! When the temperature dips below the 50s you can generally count me out for the season. I have tried tights (too hot) and shorts and a jacket (too cold). These hybrid pants combine the comfort of shorts and a little warmth on the legs which has allowed me to run comfortably to the low 40s. Kudos to Nike for coming up with this surprisingly good looking hybrid. Highly recommended!
