Firstly - This is the best trail shoe Nike have made since the Wildhorse 4. It’s a shoe actually designed for running long distances with the requisite protection to endure variable terrain. The Kiger 4/5/6 was too racey and the previous Wildhorse models had become irrelevant and heavy after they were redesigned. On this new Kiger, the toe box is wide enough for some toe splay and the additional foam in the sole unit is great. I also like the additional padding around the heel cup. My only issue is that the upper flares open on each step, creating a funnel for stones and debris. Please don’t completely scrap and redesign this whole model for the 8, as seems to be the theme.
The most comfortable trail shoes I've ever tried
A D. - 06 Jun 2021
I love trail running. That has led me to try no end of trail shoes from various brands - they have all served a purpose but there has always been a fault somewhere: too stiff, tight at one point, unsuitable laces, falling apart after a few uses, the list goes on. The Nike Terra Kiger 7s felt immediately comfortable, more so than any other trails and just like putting on a pair of road shoes. They are true to size too, with plenty of space in the toe area. They did seem to hold quite a bit of water within the material, just off the wet grass after overnight rain. However, this didn't cause any discomfort or blistering. As long as these prove durable, they will be my go-to trail shoes from now on!
Not the same shoe/fit

What is wrong with you, Nike? I bought the Terra Kiger 5 and they fit perfect. Bought the 6 and it fit the same. Now I buy the 7 in the same size and it's too big and the toe box shape is different. Why would you change the last this shoe is built on and keep the same name?
