LONDONER CHANGING THE GAME

Ronnell Humes, 19 years old from Edmonton North London, is defiantly uniting a female football community in N17. A local hero who started playing at 8 years old, trains daily, and works with schools in the area to bring through Tottenham’s next wave – Ronnell never stops.

She’s Spurs through and through, plays football 24/7 and when chances come – she owns it. So it was only right that Ronnell and her north London crew got the chance to go inside the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium and put the new world-class pitch through its paces.

FROM STREET TO STADIUM

This was no regular kickabout for Ronnell and her crew. In the dead of the night, North London’s young athlete stepped out from the shadows to go inside the stadium. ‘’At first, I was just speechless. Never in my life would I have expected to play on that pitch. I was thinking ‘What am I doing here?’. Opportunities like this don’t just happen. A footballer from Ponders end?’’. Finally, Tottenham’s lethal striker Harry Kane showed up to meet the young strikers crowning an incredible night. One that Ronell will replay in her head over and over again.
