Nike releases its new football boot, the Tiempo Legend 10

In the lead up to the biggest event in football in Australia and New Zealand, Nike has announced plans to unveil a series of new releases ranging from new colourways for its United Pack to an updated Tiempo 10 football boot.
"As we strive to redefine the future of athletes and sport, we are always pushing the limits to provide athletes with pinnacle innovations", Collin Eder, senior director of Nike Football Footwear said in a statement released by the company. "The introduction of the Tiempo Legend 10 will give athletes all over the world access to the Tiempo they know and love, but with better fit, comfort and touch on the ball, thanks to the new FlyTouch Plus material innovation".
The material aims to offer "a soft, light and strong synthetic leather material", which can provide an optimal touch for more control of the football, the same release said. FlyTouch Plus also shaves weight from the football boot, making it the lightest version of the Tiempo to date. With 55 percent less water retention than previous models, the boot can mould to an athlete's foot over time, further supporting ball control, whatever the weather conditions. And while the material has been upgraded in the Tiempo 10, the same classic and smooth traction pattern can be found in the latest instalment of the line.
In addition to the release of the Tiempo 10, Nike has unveiled the new colourways for its United Pack, which aim to commemorate a "new dawn" for women's football. As such, the United Pack colourways feature "gradient sunrise tones", which fade from bright to cool evening colours. These colourways will be available in the Nike Phantom Luna, Phantom GX, Air Zoom Mercurial and the new Tiempo 10 football boots.
Available beginning in July, the Nike United colourways and Tiempo 10 can be found at Nike.com and at selected retailers.
