Not sure how to even wear this hat... HUGE

I'm an average guy, with what I believe to be an average-sized head... But when I received this hat and tried to put it on, I was flabbergasted at how huge it was (depth-wise). If I wear it with it just above my ears (like any normal person) then it's so ridiculously puffy over my head, OR I have the option to have it almost completely cover my ears if I actually want my head to sit in the hat. I gave it 2-stars instead of 1 just because it is a cool hat, IF it were to be a normal size.

The adjustment flap attaches to the left with a velcro strip which negates the benefit of the elastic and shortens the length. Having velcro on the right or a pouch on the right to stash the left over flap would work better.
