Det er et symbol på håb for indvandrere, som har fundet tilhørsforhold og sammenhold i den samlende sport basketball. Sidst opdateret: 11. januar 2023 4 minutters læsetid Promise, Favor, Shadrach, Wisdon og Blessing. Fem unge atleter, fem basketballrejser med lignende baggrunde og inspiration. Historier, der vækker genklang hos Giannis Antetokounmpo og hans brødre, fra Nigeria til Europa, fra et liv som indvandrere til et tilflugtssted i sport. For disse børn, der er født og opvokset i Castel Volturno, som ligger i det sydlige Italien, er basketballbanen et fristed – et sted, hvor de kan udtrykke, hvem de er uden ord, uden titler, uden fordomme. *"Når man spiller med folk, man elsker, får man det godt, man bliver glad og nyder øjeblikket." Shadrach*    ## TAM TAM HOUSE Massimo Antonelli, som er stifter af Tam Tam, tidligere professionel spiller og mange andre ting, træner 1500 børn hvert år, men det har ikke været nemt for ham at finde et sted, hvor Tam Tam kunne være. Efter at have haft til huse på skolen Pineta Mare i Villaggio Coppola blev træningen flyttet til en nedlagt udendørs legeplads. Det var der, at Massimo frygtede at miste nogle af børnene. Men så skete der noget uventet: Flere børn begyndte at melde sig på holdet. De ville spille, også selvom det regnede. Institutioner og sportsforbund begyndte at få øjnene op for denne ambitiøse nonprofit-sammenslutning, og efter års arbejde kunne en drøm gå i opfyldelse: Istandsættelsen af et indendørs træningscenter, som helt og holdent var indrettet til dette projekt. Stedet, som blev omdøbt til Tam Tam House, er et sted, hvor alle, der tror på lige muligheder, solidaritet og samarbejde i sport, er velkomne. *"Da jeg mødte Tam Tam, lærte jeg ikke at give op. At blive ved med at prøve, at gøre mere, at lære mere, at være bedre end før." Blessing*   Ifølge italiensk lov må børn af indvandrere ikke dyrke organiseret sport, fordi de ikke har ret til statsborgerskab fra fødslen. De er fremmede i deres eget land, men kæmper sammen som ét Tam Tam-hold for at få chancen for at spille og konkurrere, og ligesom Giannis viste de deres værd og gav aldrig op, og til sidst blev de anerkendt. Kampen er ikke slut endnu, men basketball er og bliver den stærkeste udtryksform for Tam Tam, når det gælder om at skabe en ny fremtid for mange flere børn, både i Castel Volturno og i resten af Italien. *"Tam Tam kan vokse sig større i fremtiden.
