Nike Sportswear Essential

Definitely agree with the other reviews regarding the oversizedness of the sweatshirt - because it is huge. For reference, Nike usually fits me a size to small so I typically order a large. But after reading other reviews I opted for a medium and I am so glad I did. It is still extremely roomy and I probably could’ve gotten away with a small. I am taking 1 star away because it is a bit more cropped than what is pictured, regardless I really do like this sweatshirt and will most likely wear it when traveling. Also be warned it has a bat-wing style when it comes to sleeves. 5’6 155 pounds, average body type.

I am F, 6’1 and 180, and this sweatshirt ran ENORMOUS on me. I typically am a M/L for clothes and so ordered a M sweatpants and a L top (I wanted it to be roomy and comfy). The M matching sweats fit perfectly on me. They are super cute and super comfy and I would def recommend normal sizing there. The sweatshirt on the other hand... I originally ordered a Large hoping for a roomy feel that I could lounge about in at home. What I got was essentially a blanket that was turned into a crop top with arms. I was swimming (and drowning) in this sweatshirt. I sent it back and got a M because I thought that would be a better fit. I was wrong. The M was even too large. It’s like they are running about 2x above the actual sizing for this top. It is currently on its way back right now, and I have ordered a Small hoping that will work out (the XS was sold out already, probably because anyone who was looking for a Medium or Small feel exchanged down). These are both super comfy but just make sure you are aware of the fit when you order. It has been a hassle ordering and returning so much.

Beautiful sweatshirt, the color is gorgeous. The size chart suggested a size M, but based on reviews I sized down to S. ( for reference my bust is 36.25”, waist 29”, hip 36.5”). I like how very wide it is, the length reaches my hips on the side being slightly shorter at the center, which is flattering; however, the sleeves are extremely long even for my already very long arms, and they cover my fingers completely. When I pull the wrist band up to my wrist the volume of fabric around my forearm and elbow is excessive and not flattering. I am ordering XS for better length at the arms, but I hope I don’t loose too much length and width at the torso.
