Ja, das gibt es. Jedes Mal, wenn Rayssa mit ihrem Board abhebt, inspiriert sie eine neue Generation von Mädchen dazu, es ihr gleichzutun. Letzte Aktualisierung: 20. Oktober 2021 4 Min. Lesezeit  Als Rayssa jünger war, liebte sie Feen genauso sehr wie das Skaten. Für sie gab es kein "das ist für Jungs und das ist für Mädchen". Es ging ihr nur darum, Spaß zu haben. Dadurch dass sie ihre beiden Lieben kombinierte, veränderte sich ihr Leben für immer. Als sie sechs Jahre alt war, ging sie viral, nachdem sie in einem Feenkostüm einen Heelflip landete. Das Video war der Startschuss für ihre Karriere und erregte die Aufmerksamkeit der weltweiten Skate-Community. Mit gerade einmal dreizehn Jahren ist sie bereits eine der besten Athletinnen der Welt und haucht dem Sport eine ganz besondere Magie ein.  __Wann hast du dein erstes Skateboard bekommen?__ __RAYSSA:__ Ich bekam mein erstes Skateboard geschenkt, als ich sechs Jahre alt war. Ich wollte einen Roller haben und bat meinen Vater, mir einen zu kaufen. Einen Tag später schenkte er mir jedoch ein Skateboard. Ich dachte mir nur: "OK, ich glaube nicht, dass ich das kann." ## "Am Anfang waren meine Eltern die einzigen, die mich unterstützten. Die Leute dachten, dass Skaten nichts für Mädchen sei." – Rayssa  __Wie kam es dazu, dass du ein Feenkostüm getragen hast? Erzähl uns davon.__ __RAYSSA:__ Das ist eine lustige Geschichte. Am brasilianischen Unabhängigkeitstag fand in meiner Schule eine Parade statt. Ich zog das Kleid an, das meine Oma genäht hatte, und als die Parade vorbei war, dachte ich: "OK, jetzt brauche ich eigentlich nur noch meine Socken und Sneaker und schon kann ich rausgehen und skaten". Ich fing an, mich aufzuwärmen, und machte kurz darauf einen Heelflip. Meine Mutter filmte mich dabei und postete anschließend das Video.  __Du hast in einem Video mit zwei Stereotypen aufgeräumt. Zum einen: Mädchen können nicht skaten. Und zum anderen: Skater sehen alle gleich aus. Erzähl uns ein bisschen darüber.__ __RAYSSA:__ Das war schon ziemlich krass. Alle posteten Kommentare wie: "Wow, ein Mädchen, das als Fee verkleidet ist und Moves hinlegt, die kein erwachsener Mann so hinbekommen würde." Skaten ist nicht nur etwas für Prinzen, sondern auch für Prinzessinnen. Ich habe ihnen gezeigt, dass auch Mädchen das Zeug dazu haben. ## "Es gibt auf der ganzen Welt viele Mädchen, die gut skaten können. Ich freue mich wirklich sehr, dass es immer mehr Mädchen gibt, die skaten.
