Letzte Aktualisierung: 26. Januar 2021  Meditation ist eine Fähigkeit wie jede andere. "Man muss sie einfach lernen und üben", erklärt Psychologin Dr. Megan Jones Bell, wissenschaftliche Leiterin bei Headspace und Mitglied im Nike Performance Council. "Aber Meditation ist auch eine Erfahrung, die dich direkt mit dem gegenwärtigen Moment verbindet." Jones Bell hilft Menschen, diesen gegenwärtigen Moment zu finden und in ihm zu verweilen, ob bei der Meditation, beim Training oder beim Wettkampf. Heute gibt sie uns sechs Tipps, die bei der regelmäßigen Meditation helfen. 1. __Vertrau einem Experten__ Wenn du noch nie zuvor meditiert hast, dann hol dir Hilfe. Lade dir zum Beispiel die Headspace-App herunter und suche dir einen Kurs, der dich in kleinen Schritten an das Thema heranführt. 2. __Mach es zu einer täglichen Gewohnheit__ Als Anfänger geht es zunächst nicht so sehr darum, wie lange du meditierst, sondern wie oft. Es ist besser, jeden Tag zehn Minuten lang zu meditieren als einmal in der Woche eine Stunde. Versuche, jeden Tag zur selben Uhrzeit und am selben Ort zu meditieren. Beginne mit kurzen Meditationen und verlängere sie, sobald du etwas mehr Erfahrung hast. 3. __Mach es dir bequem__ Setz dich auf ein Kissen oder auf einen Stuhl, wenn du eine Stütze für deinen Rücken brauchst. Bei der Meditation geht es nicht um Perfektion, sondern darum, Spannungen loszuwerden. 4. __Beweg dich__ Wenn du zu unruhig bist, um dich hinzusetzen, versuche es einmal mit einer Gehmeditation an einem ruhigen, offenen Ort. Geh langsam und gleichmäßig 10 bis 15 Schritte in eine Richtung und konzentrier dich darauf, wie sich der Fuß auf dem Boden anfühlt. Mach eine kurze Pause, atme bewusst und lass deine Gedanken an dir vorbeiziehen. Dann dreh dich um und geh die Strecke genauso langsam und gleichmäßig wieder zurück. 5. __Fokussier dich__ Achtsamkeit bedeutet, dass du dich völlig im gegenwärtigen Moment befindest, egal, was du gerade tust. Beobachte beim Meditieren deine Gedanken, Gefühle und Empfindungen, ohne sie zu bewerten oder an ihnen festzuhalten. Diese Technik lässt sich auch auf das Training, die Regeneration, Beziehungen und viele andere Bereiche übertragen. 6. __Gib dir einen Monat Zeit__ Veränderungen geschehen nicht über Nacht. Notiere dir, wann du angefangen hast, und versuche, einen Monat lang regelmäßig zu meditieren.
