• Snug, comfortable shoes for everything from shooting hoops to physical therapy

  When I first tried these on, I thought they were going to be a little tight, but they ended up fitting very well. I think about the only thing I really noticed about the fit was that it seemed like the top of my feet were a little too big, so the tongues just barely covered them. Not a huge deal, but something to definitely note if you consider your feet higher than average for their size. Despite this, the well-cushioned tongues made wearing these very comfortable, so I never felt like the laces were digging into the tops of my feet. I liked just everything about the design of the shoes except for the color scheme: bright red and gold on top of white. I think white gets dirty quicker but black shows wear more, so I can definitely live with the white. Only a few things were gold, like the Nike swoosh logo and a graphic on the tongues, so it was subtle/tasteful enough. However, I think the red was just a little too bright for my tastes, and it's basically all over; that said, it wasn't enough for me to avoid wearing them out. Speaking of, I pretty much wore them out exclusively these past few weeks, and they were definitely comfortable enough to wear all day long. Most days I was just walking around running errands and such, but I did play some basketball with my son and also wore them to physical therapy for my ankles. I do think the amount of cushioning the shoes provided helped me play basketball longer and focus better on my physical therapy. Overall, how comfortable these shoes are is what ultimately won me over - I don't think I own a more comfortable pair of shoes. The only things I'd really change about them is maybe widening the tongues just a touch and the color scheme. As a sidenote, they have amazing stopping power and make that characteristic (and satisfying, at least to me) squeak on certain floors - if you know, you know.

• Versatile shoes

  I was pretty excited when these shoes arrived in the mail. I’ve always appreciated the extra support basketball shoes offer, even off the court, and had high hopes these shoes would deliver. They did not disappoint. I’ve been wearing Nikes almost exclusively over the last decade and these shoes fit true to size. I had absolutely no problem with the fit compared to my other shoes. One of the main part of a basketball shoes construction is having enough support in the mid-section of the foot. This allows for quick side-to-side movement while maintaining stability. This shoe does this well without making the shoe clunky. Perfect for either the court or simply walking around. I was a little concerned with the heal on this shoe. I have a very narrow heal and with almost every shoe, I inevitably will get blisters, within the first hour. This show provides extra padding in the heal, it held my heal snuggly in the shoe and provide the much needed comfort that I often lack in athletic shoes. But I wanted to put the shoes to the test, and what better way than a full day on my feet at the airport. These shoes handled wonderfully, not a trace of a blister or redness on my heal at all! At the end of the day, if you are looking for a basketball shoe which you can also wear off the court, I would definitely chose this shoe. The style and versatility is top notch!

• Super comfy, super fly

  First of all, these shoes look amazing. The red/gold/white color scheme is dope and I love the little details like the gold on the tongue, the gold messaging inside, and the gold rays on the back (see the pictures). These shoes are incredibly plush and feel comfortable from the moment you put them on--right out of the box. They're super comfortable for walking around in/going to the gym and you can definitely go out in them too.
