Nike Pegasus Trail 2 GTX

This shoe runs small.

I got this shoe because I was tired of rainy days when my foot would be soaked because of the typical sneaker letting water in. The goretex appealed to me and so did the upgraded rubber sole. I thought it would be good for days there was some minor snow or ice and I didn't have to throw boots on with sweatpants. The shoe runs a bit snug and short so I had to get a size up. It's a little 'clunky' looking but it serves more of a purpose so I am not overly concerned with the style. The one thing I wish they did differently with this shoe is shorten the back a bit. I guess they chose to let it jut out the back and it just is ever so slightly too long. If it was a bit shorter the shoe's profile would look better.

First Nike shoes that I have bought in years for actually running in. Moved to the more "boutique" running shoe and this is a great reintroduction. Big fan of the shoe even the "McDonald's bag" colorway they came in. Kept feet dry and feel great. Looking forward to more miles.
