My name is Youssouf Fofana, 
I am the co-founder of Maison Château Rouge.
We are proud of the collection.
We think it's a good bridge
between Paris and 
our African cultures.

This is about motifs.
On the collection
we made for Jordan,
we have these prints that are
made as commemorative cloths.

This pair has been designed
for Michael Jordan,
that can be worn with a suit.
The pair is entirely
made of leather.
We wanted to stay
on something crafted.
The print is
carved into the leather,
and this is something
that was linked
to my culture, 
which is scarification.

My favorite part of 
the shoe is the back.
I think there's something
quite interesting,
especially with the 
orange and these effects,

It reminds me of a basket ball.
The idea of making a collection
that makes sense with Paris,
we thought it would be
interesting to start 
from this shot of Michael Jordan 

in Paris near the Eiffel tower
and remake it as a drawing
in the commemorative cloth.
I think that in our generation,
we are bound to innovate 
all the time because 
what we are living 
and doing is something new.
