I already owned older "AM90 sneakerboots" that pretended to be waterproof but were not really, as the tongue was not gusseted entirely (there was a hole at the bottom of the tongue so all the water ended inside). Here it is not the case, the bottom half of the tongue is sealed so the sneakers are completely waterproof up o this point. However they are tight and narrow, partly due to the gusseted tongue I guess but not only, whole shoe feels narrow. I suggest you get a size larger.
