How does Nike select authorised Marketplace Partners?

Applications are evaluated to meet rigorous standards: our distribution is extremely selective, and only a small number of new Marketplace Partners are appointed each year.

There is no specific business model or distribution requirement for applications, however you must have a valid business licence (issued through your local government) for your application to be considered.

I want to sell online, do I need to submit an application?

Yes, it's the same process. Please note, applications to sell Nike products on a digital marketplace such as Amazon or eBay will not be considered.

Is there an application fee?

There is no fee to apply to become an authorised Nike Marketplace Partner.

How long does the application process take?

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, the entire process can take up to 90 days.

What if I need help filling in the application?

If my application was denied, can I reapply?

In order to reapply, you must wait one year from the date on your denial letter.

I'm a former Marketplace Partner, can I simply reactivate my account?

We will gladly consider applications from former business partners, however once a Marketplace Partner account has been closed, we reserve the right to require a new application.

Applications from former Marketplace Partners will be evaluated with the same rigour and criteria that we apply to new Marketplace Partner applications.

What will my pricing, minimum order, credit limit and payment terms be?

Trade terms are calibrated according to our assessment of credit risk, distribution needs and allocation of product assortments. If we elect to open your account, we will offer trade terms that are appropriate for the level of distribution we anticipate with your business.
