Amazing Grip

Chugh1202 - 16 avr. 2021

I am using Nike Wildhorse 7 from last one month. I wear these shoes while going for running on daily basis on Preston Bridge Trail. They are very comfortable. Its sole is so soft and provide cushion to my foot. The quality of sole is also good that it does not feel that it will crack after a short time. It’s grip is very strong. I’ve never had a more sturdy but well supported shoes. The shoes is excellent for all sorts of terrains even in mud! During a downpour while running on mud I experienced no slippage and was able to make tight turns with no problem. This is a complete package of style and comfort. It looks very stylish. It is Black and White simple and sober. Even I tried this on mountain for tracking over the weekend. The grip is really good. I would definitely recommend these awesome shoes for tracking and trails.

Solid trail shoes. A little snug and some boring colors.

When I first saddled up these Wildhorses, my initial impression was, "Mmmm, quite plush." Maybe it's because I haven't replaced a pair of my running shoes in too long, but I found these to be quite squishy (in a good way!) As I've come to find with Nike's running shoes, for me, the size 13 felt a bit on the snug side. A little cramped in the toe box and downright tight across the top of the midfoot. However, after wearing them around for just general walking and running errands, I was surprised at how much they stretched out and opened up like a true thoroughbred running down the final straightaway. It was time to take these horses out for a gallop. After my first run in them, what I was most impressed with was the amount of traction they provided, having a nice, knobby bottom that wraps around the shoe and comes up the side. A great feature for taking these ponies out on the trail. After a few miles, my feet started to swell a bit, as they tend to do, and the snugness became a factor again. In the future, I think I'd opt for these in a size 14 instead of the 13. As far as aesthetics go, the only color that was available in my size was the black/white color scheme, which to be honest, made these look more like a football/baseball shoe than a running one. The other color options are much more my style, but like I said, this is what was available and I wanted to try these out. All in all, the Wildhorse 7 is a solid, plush, grippy trail shoe. I would definitely recommend sizing up, especially if you have a wider foot or one that tends to swell when running. But once you're done jockeying around with the size, you'll enjoy the ride.

Don’t leave for the trail without these

Steph D. - 15 avr. 2021

For the past few years, trail running has been my favorite type of running. Finding the right shoe for the tasks is always a challenge; between weight and durability, finding the middle ground of what works takes time. The Wild Horse fits the bill almost perfectly. Although on the heavier side, the padding in the sole and durable tread on the bottom more than makes up for the difference. The lower cut tops have a nice flexible band that acts as a mini gaiter to keep dirt and small rocks from enter the shoe as well. When running downhill, the toe box is wide enough to evenly distribute impact on the toes, but not too wide to where normal running is flexing and displacing a lot of rubber. The sole of the shoe is firm enough to absorb the smaller rocks on the trail as well, so your feet are not as stressed throughout your running.
