Great shoe

I do light jogging so I cant comment for hard core hikers. However for my needs it is super comfortable, and good looking as well

Love the shoes. Fit great. Have the year b4 model and I I like the improvements. The only thing I don’t like is the army green looks army green on your website and looks black in person

Bring back the firmer sole feel from TK6!!

I'll start by saying I do like this shoe and it has some of the advantages which make TKs my favourite trail shoes: the secureheel and midfoot fit with a wide toe box to allow natural toe splay, lightweight upper, low drop are all great. The outsole has improved since the TK6 which is much needed; the traction on the TK6 wasn't good enough for autumn, winter or spring in the UK. Here's what I don't like: the new sole feel. I thought the terra kiger was supposed to be a fast, responsive shoe which is suitable for racing. The firm midsole and insole were perfect for this on the TK6. They provided a 'bounce back' type feeling. The TK7 is as soft as a road shoe and I can't work out why they would change it. This is fine for road sections but on trail there's a proper mushy, energy zapping sensation with such a thick, soft midsole. It also makes my feet ache on longer runs. I'm sure there's some people who find the soft sole a relief, but I feel as if this is capitulating to people who really ought to sort their running technique and/or foot condition out. It changes the whole function of the shoe. It also makes the shoe heavier which only adds to the slow feel. All in all still good, but a disappointing random change for seemingly no reason with midsole feel.
