My name is Texas Schiffmacher, I’m 30 years old, I’m from Amsterdam and I am a photographer.
Everybody was wearing the Cortez back in the days. I grew up in the 90’s, in the tattoo industry, so it reminds me of my youth.

I'd say my personal style is a little bit a mix of everything. With photography you capture a memory, that's why I like merchandise of bars, football teams, bands. I want to memorize where I went and which bands I saw live.

I like to pair the Cortez with, well basically something I wear every day, just some work pants and a regular t-shirt because the Cortez is a classic and it pairs well with everything. I think it's a staple in a lot of cultures over the past 30 years.

And it looks like a bull terrier, that’s what I like personally. And we love dogs over here, so. I think I spend more time thinking what to get tattooed than what to wear and that's why I keep it simple.

I just happen to have really cool items in my closet and hand-me-downs, and somehow it looks cool. 

So yeah, I'm definitely a product of my own environment because I do like to dress the exact same as my dad. To be honest, I'm pretty sure he had Cortez as well. With a suède swoosh!
