How Does the Currency Transition Affect My Nike Order?

From 1 January 2026, we price all Nike products in euros and complete all transactions in euros. Rest assured, we're doing all we can to make this transition as smooth as possible.

FAQs

What is the conversion rate for lev to euro?

The Council of the European Union has set a fixed conversion rate of EUR 1 = BGN 1.95583.

In what currency will I be refunded if I return an order after 1 January?

After 1 January, all refunds processed will be in euros as lev will no longer be a valid currency in Bulgaria. This also applies to refunds for orders placed before 1 January that were paid in lev.

The refund amount in euros will be calculated based on the fixed conversion rate set by the Council of the European Union.

I received a promo code before 1 January 2026, and the terms and conditions state that it has a discount limit of BGN 880.00—is the code still valid?

Yes, the code is still valid as long as it's before the promo expiration date. To understand the new value, you can use the fixed conversion exchange rate to calculate the discount limit in euros.

I'm still not used to the currency conversion and calculating manually using the exchange rate, how is Nike making this easier for me?

To help our consumers get used to the currency conversion and exchange rate, all cost-related documents such as invoices and proof of refunds will indicate both lev and euro values for reference.

The dual-currency display will be in place until 31 December 2026 to help consumers with the transition.
