The Shoes are tight, I suggest getting a size up. And the Wide Selection on colorways limited to only 2.

I am currently experiencing this with almost all of the shoes that I have ordered recently from Nike that the sole is too narrow around the medial longitudinal arch of my foot which creates pressure and makes the shoes uncomfortable. I have always relied on Nike shoes for long-distance runs and have not experienced such issues with older versions. I thought maybe the anatomy of my feet had changed... Perhaps I am turning into a hobbit? To test it, I ordered the "Downshifter 12 Men's Road Running" version instead of the women's version. My shoe size is EU 39, but I always ordered one-size larger for running. Now I need EU 40.5, and even then, they feel narrow... While the Downshifter has been the most comfortable of all the shoes I have tried on so far, unfortunately, I found the red logo visually unappealing. The shoe looked somehow more attractive in the images. It does seem durable to me - however, I never got to run in them, so I can't really judge that.

The fit is snug for a Nike, coming in a little shorter and narrower than other Nike running shoes, so you may want to consider going half a size up, or if they’re your first pair of running shoes, at least a whole size up from your regular shoe. On the foot, they feel lightweight, super flexible, and comfortable. On walking around the foam feels adequate, nothing too exciting about it depending on your expectations but all in all, a good first impression. PROS Great price Good looking shoe Lightweight Comfortable straight away and on longer runs CONS Shoelaces too short Breathability in the midfoot
