Keep running in wet weather with the Nike Shield Run Division Trousers. Water-repellent fabric helps keep you dry when your route takes you through wind and rain. Lightweight and breathable, the trousers can be worn over leggings or on their own.
Useful, waterproof but if you're between sizes....

I've wanted to buy these for a while as I was tired of going on runs in rainy weather and coming back soaked. I wasn't too sure about the sizing, as I'm between sizes (14-16) and decided to go for 16-18. They lean more towards the size 18 end so are more of a baggy fit. I'm 5'5" so they were just the right length and comfortable. I have Nike size L leggings that are a perfect fit so I wasn't prepared for how baggy these would feel as I was hoping for a closer fit. If you're looking to buy these and are in between sizes, you may need to decide whether you want them a bit more snug/fitted, or prefer a looser fit around the waist and hips. On the first run, I wore running shorts underneath and was pleased to see that, not only was I still dry, but the fleecy lining left my legs feeling warm. I'm not going to complain because it wasn't a warm day and my legs weren't dripping with sweat! I could get away with wearing leggings underneath as they're not tight, and I didn't even remember that I had shorts on beneath them. I was well impressed with the water resistance, seeing that I was out for over 90 minutes and it rained non-stop. By the time my run was ended, I was fascinated by the beads of rain on my trousers (see photos). Overall I'd say a good buy, not sure whether the price is justified. They come in handy for non-run errands during inclement weather. I noticed that there are Nike Shield leggings for men but none for women, why?
Well fitting, comfortable trousers for cold days

These fit comfortably and snugly. Throughout a run, they don’t need to be pulled up- they sit just below belly button. I’m a UK 12-14 (hips!) and they comfortably fit, but would probably be too snug for a base layer as well. However on their own they are very practical.
