Comfortable and Stable

michaelsemon - 05 Oct 2021

I was really impressed with this tennis shoe. I usually have been playing in the vapor cage for the stability, but they are a big bulky. So I wanted to try these, which I find to be a great balance between comfort and stability. Ive played a few competitive matches in these and hold up incredibly well. Will order more of these in the future. They do run a tad big, so I got half a size up from my usually and they fit well. No real complaints with these shoes, have had them for about 5-6 months and they have held up well.

The Best Shoe I have ever worn

ModernL602564774 - 27 Sep 2021

I signed up to Nike just to write a review of this shoe. This is the Best Shoe I have ever worn in my life!. Be it a work boot, a standard shoe, or a tennis shoe. This shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Note I have the Nike Air Max Zephyr EOI Men's Shoe and I would say this GP Turbo is more comfortable. When I first got my Turbos and tried them on, OMG I was instantly impressed. The cushioning of the soul blew my mind, I could feel a soft air bubble under my heal and another in the front of the shoe, It was so beautiful that I just kind of started rocking backwards and forwards on my feet to feel the air bubbles in the back and front compress and decompress. I went out and tried these shoes on court and they were brilliant!, I played with them 2 more times then I jumped straight back on the Nike site and purchased another 2 pairs of these in my fav colour, so when I wear out my first pair I will have another 2 pairs still waiting(I don't want to wear anything else haha). I have only had my Turbos a few months now but it is important to note I play 6 sets a week approx + practice, over hard court and grass, so I have really put these shoes to work. They are Durable. Quick stops and turns on hard court can really put pressure on a shoe and my Turbos do not show any signs of tearing, stitching or glue failing or anything like that. In fact they show no signs of wear at all except on the bottom of the soul obviously haha. I can already see what is going to happen here. These shoes will still be perfect and I will have worn the soul down so much there is no grip left anymore and I will still keep wearing them until I start slipping on damp grass and have no choice but to get out my second pair of Turbos. It won't be because the glue or stitching failed or the material became worn and torn, No I can't see that happening at all. These will still look perfect on top for ages. The only way to test the durability of this shoe is don't play on hard court so you don't wear the soul down, then in 2-3 years see how the glue, stitching, material is holding up. A few words re. the sizing and fit. Well Yes they are slightly tight-ish in the toe section although not too bad and actually I don’t even notice that now so they must have worn in a bit or something. To the Nike team, you have made a new customer for life in me. After a shoe this good I am Nike forever. Thankyou for making this great shoe. #JustDoIt

Runs Real Narrow

Youbet - 12 Sep 2021

It always amazes me when Nike put's out a shoe that runs narrow, and not your standard D width size. I know throughout the years I always have to purchase a half size larger from 11 to (11 1/2). To purchase 11 1/2 and have the shoe come in super narrow is completely ridiculous, and a waste of my time returning the shoe back to Nike.
