  The cleats are a perfect fit once they are on. Extremely comfortable playing in them on both turf and grass. They are, however, a big difficult to put on given the soft material around the opening. The cleats are also very lightweight and didn’t feel weighed down in damp conditions. I love the design. The neutral gray and black base make the colorful sections pop. They’re stylish but not overly flashy. I also love the raised ankle support. As someone with ankle issues in the past, I can feel an extra bit of security which brings some additional comfort and peace of mind. These clears are definitely one of the more comfortable cleats I’ve worn. After a 2 hour game, I wasn’t rushing to take them off like I was my now old pair of cleats. I feel like I could continue training in these after a long game. My favorite parts of the cleat, in addition to the design and color scheme, are the high ankle and overall weight of the clear. Normally, you’d have to trade off being lightweight for more ankle support but I feel like this cleat has both. I would definitely recommend this cleat to other competitive players. These cleats surely are a step up from all the other clears I've worn in my years playing soccer.

  Unbelievably effective boot with some very cool tech. The Phantom Gx Elite Df Fusion Fg feels like nothing else out there. Right out of the box, I noticed an increased ability to push forward and transition to lateral movements easily. It honestly feels like an energy drink for my feet. The Phantom Ultra is probably is the closest boot I can think of that even compares in performance. They are a little tough to get on, but the multiknit upper is very soft and provides some excellent comfort. I also like the swirly striped design details that divide the flyknit and gripknit fabrics. And the gripknit is super effective - I get better touch and extra control without it feeling sticky. I haven’t had the chance to play in a full-on downpour, but light rain didn’t change a thing. Compared to something like the Hypervenom Phantoms or the Phantom Gts these ran long for me, but they are still quite snug. The extra length can make these feel a floaty, but I’ve never had an issue with heel slippage. The lace system does allow you to customize the fit, but locking them down doesn’t really mitigate the extra room I have in the toe box. Overall, I highly, highly recommend the Phantom Gx Elite Df Fusion Fg. My rotational mobility is dramatically improved and get a solid boost to speed and stability. Even if you typically prefer lows, give these a shot. You won’t be disappointed!

• Best shoes ever

  I was a little apprehensive about these shoes as I haven't bought new cleats in a long time, but these fat exceeded my expectations. They are extremely comfortable AND durable and they are incredibly light on your feet. It barely feels like you're wearing shoes. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who is looking to upgrade their cleats.
