My name's Eddy Tochukwu, and I'm a collage artist. I was born in Japan, but my dad's from Nigeria, so I've always been surrounded by the vivid primary colors of Africa.

When it comes to my work, color is something I really value. I agonize over it a lot, but there's always something somewhere that will catch my eye.

I often write things down so I don't forget them. When you look at my work as a whole, it makes one strong impression, but I also weave my message into every little detail.

I make sure my work is interesting whichever part you look at, and that it conveys the message to the audience.

I hope my next solo exhibition will let me show everyone my new way of expressing myself.
