Loved these shoes for the first 200k, as they kept their shape, fit and feel. However the last month they have started to deteriorate and are not even at 250k yet (I track every run on strava) After an 8k this morning l, running on road/ pavement as always the left side between the upper and lower ripped and now is almost unusable. Expected this after 450-500k
Perfect. Lightweight. Balanced.

These shoes are pretty much perfect. They aren’t my every day trainer- but I use them on pavement runs and when I’m setting PR’s. They are lightweight, and balanced.
Really wanted to like them... but they fell apart

So let me start off by saying that I love Nike and will continue to be a loyal customer. BUT these shoes were the biggest letdown. The durability of my pair was horrible. I purchased 2 pairs of the turbo 1 last year (one for training and one for racing) and rotated them between running workouts with no problems at all (I never use my running shoes work weight training). I bought 1 pair of the 2’s because my pair from last year is still completely fine and still rotate. In the past month and a half I have probably put in 60-80 miles, never in the rain or on gravel. Last weekend I went out for my long run and felt my right foot slipping, I just thought the laces were loose. Nope. There was a 4-5 inch ‘tear’ on the outside of the shoe where upper had completely torn from the sole... not only that the exact same thing was happening on the other shoe. Needless to say I was/am incredibly upset about them as I was planning on wearing them for my Ironman in December. And well 180$ was flushed down the toilet. Won’t be buying a second pair and actively looking for a different shoe. Very long story short, I didn’t have a great experience with this shoe and wouldn’t recommend them for an endurance athlete.
