How This Was Made

  • The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
  • In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester produces up to 30% lower carbon emissions than virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfill and waterways.

I love the colour and design of this top, it’s so hard to find unique tennis clothing usually, and the fit was great. However, the length is very awkward, it’s too long to be a crop top and too short to be a normal top. I assumed the model had it tucked in on the photo but it does just end awkwardly in line with the bottoms, and makes it look odd when you move around or lift your arms in any way. Personally I only own one pair of shorts with a high enough rise for this top. It’s also frustrating that the straps don’t cover your sports bra. You can see in the photos the model has to colour coordinate the sports bra so it doesn’t ruin the design. I play tennis a few times per week so I don’t want to have to coordinate the right sports to be able to wear this top. With just a few adjustments to the straps and length this could be a perfect top but currently it’s just awkward.
